Well, it is no news that we all need to eat to survive and better if we can eat a well-balanced diet. It is even more important to watch what you eat when you are pregnant. Keep in mind that you are now eating for two. Whatever you eat, the baby eats as well, which makes it extremely important that you eat healthy so your baby will be healthy inside you.
Missing a meal means your baby is also missing a meal. I bet you won’t want to starve your baby, so never miss a meal while you are pregnant, especially breakfast. In fact, studies have shown that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and your baby has probably been waiting for breakfast since he/she woke up in the middle of the night.

It can take up to 4-6 servings of dairy a day for a healthy pregnancy; this can include cheeses, milk and yogurt to make up the pregnancy diet. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetable. Lots of green is highly recommended, you can also eat sweet potatoes-they are good for you. Not only will you be giving your body what it needs but you’ll start to have more energy. Avoid eating plenty of sweets for a week and replace them with healthier items and see how alive you feel.
Foods you may avoid
certain food are not safe during pregnancy, and some of the food you should avoid eating are:
- Unpasteurized products- brie
- Certain type of fish-, for example exotic, shark, swordfish, anything high in mercury
- Raw eggs
– Raw or Undercooked meats-
- Caffeine- soda, chocolate.
—Stay away from caffeine, the less you have in your system the better it is for the baby.
It is best to consult your doctor or midwife If you are unsure of the foods you can or can’t eat . They’ll be more than happy to share this with you.
It is also good to study your body very well during pregnancy as certain changes will be taking place. For example, you may observe that your stomach won’t handle certain foods that it would before. Some of those foods may include foods that contain grease, fast foods, meat, and certain foods that have certain odor.You may remove such food from your pregnancy diet plans .
Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to cut out all the fun in your life; you can still treat yourself from time to time. Go out and get a frozen yogurt or so but be reasonable so you don’t harm your baby.Diet For Pregnant Women
